GreenUp Program
Rhode Island EnergyAbout the program
GreenUp is a program that lets you choose to have all or part of your electricity generated from renewable sources. To be eligible, Rhode Island Energy must be your current electricity supplier.
To enroll, select and contact one of our GreenUp companies to participate in the program. Rhode Island Energy will remain as your electricity supplier.
Once enrolled, GreenUp charges will appear as a separate line item on your Rhode Island Energy bill. You can cancel your GreenUp enrollment at any time through your chosen GreenUp company. Your participation in the GreenUp program will be canceled if you sign up with a different supplier or if your account falls sixty days in arrears.
