Forgiveness Program (AMP)

The Forgiveness Program, also known as the Arrearage Management Program (AMP), is available to customers on income-eligible discount rates who have a balance of at least $300 that is more than 60 days past due. To enroll in AMP, you must also be approved for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). If you meet these requirements, you may qualify for this payment plan.

Once you enroll, you’ll pay your balance in a series of installments. If you make your payments on time, a portion of your past-due amount will be forgiven, up to $1,500 per year. Please note that if your service was shut off for non-payment, you’ll be required to make a down payment. No down payment is required if your service is still active.
