Electric Transportation and Charging Programs

Rhode Island Energy continues to support transportation electrification across the state.

As of September 1st, 2022, participation in our recent electric vehicle programs has closed. However, we continue to support transportation electrification in Rhode Island and stand ready to help answer your questions. Please see below for helpful information as you consider EVs and charging equipment and check back often for news on future incentive offerings.

DRIVE RI Rebate Program: The State of Rhode Island’s Office of Energy Resources is offering incentives for the purchase/lease of electric vehicles, including funding for fleets.
