Rhode Island Energy has rules in place to protect financially vulnerable customers from losing gas and electric services. If one or more of the following conditions apply to you, call 1-855-743-1101.
- Serious illness that’s life-threatening or causes lifelong health issues
- Living with any impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities
- Everyone who lives in the household is 62 years old or older
- Housing a child younger than two years old and are experiencing financial hardship
