A new centralized web experience

We’ve made big changes at Rhode Island Energy. Our new, streamlined website offers features to help you keep your account secure, pay your bill, and report electrical outages and gas emergencies. You’ll also be able to easily perform everyday tasks like setting up bill and outage alerts, paying your bill, signing up for financial assistance, and starting or stopping service. 

A summary of our streamlined website

You’ll no longer need to select if you’re a home or business customer. Once you sign in, you can go to My Account to view your bills and account summary, make a payment, and start, stop, or transfer service. 

When you click Outages and Safety, you can report an electrical outage, view outages on a map, or find out the number to call if you have a gas emergency. 

The Rhode Island Energy website has a different navigation. In the Ways to Save section, you can shop for a supplier or sign up for the default rate using our step-by-step guide. You will also find energy-saving tips, programs, and rebates for heating and cooling systems. If you need help paying your bill, we offer assistance programs to help every family, regardless of income. 

Under the More section, business owners will find sustainable, energy-efficient savings that benefit the environment while saving them money. We also offer design assistance, technical support, and incentives for commercial projects of any size.
